Getting Started
How much does a website cost?
The cost of a website can vary depending on a number of factors: number of pages, features, functionality, and other design aspects. Website projects typically start around $5,000 for basic business sites, and can increase depending on your unique needs. Please contact us for a free consultation and estimate on your website work.
How does the payment process work?
We ask for a 50% deposit before the start of each project, to be paid once the client approves a written scope of work. The remaining 50% is due upon final approval of the finished project; once payment in full is made, the website is scheduled for launch.
How long does it take to build a website?
Every website is unique, and designing a great site doesn’t happen overnight. How soon your project can be finished will vary, depending on size and complexity. On average, a fully-fledged website will take 12 weeks from start to finish, allowing time for you to provide input — we want you to love your site as much as we love designing it!
What if I don't know what I want?
We’ve got your back. Our experienced designers will be happy to walk you through various options and layouts. If you have specific ideas, we’ll be happy to work with those — but if not, that’s OK. You don’t have to agonize over the details. We’ll help select specific fonts, colors, and element styles to make sure your website looks as good as possible.

How does it work?
Who will I work with during the project?

Right now, the chief designer on staff is also our founder, Anna. You’ll be working directly with her. (Say hi!)

Many design and development firms will outsource work to freelancers or interns — not us. We plan to continue expanding our business and building a team of talented designers, but no matter how successful we are, you’ll always be in direct communication with one of our crew.

Can I modify my website design if I want?

Yes! Once we’ve gotten to know each other over a (real or virtual) cup of coffee and you’ve given us a deposit on your project, we’ll write up a scope of work. After you’ve given your approval to this document, we’ll get to work!

When your basic design is complete, we’ll enter a revision period where you can provide feedback, comments, and let us know what if anything you would like to change. We’ll then implement your ideas, and ask for your final approval. Small changes and additions can be made at this point if necessary, but by this stage we consider the overall structure and design of the website to be set.

If you request changes to the design after the final approval is given, you will incur additional charges.

(Sorry, but we have to be fair to all our clients.)
Can I update my website after launch, or will you manage it for me?

We know that the transition to a new website can be challenging, so every website we design includes support for minor updates within the first 30 days after launch.

We encourage our clients to maintain their own websites in the long term. All of our websites are built using WordPress, and the learning curve is simple. We’ll provide support for any questions or concerns you have during the first 30 days.

If you’d rather hand over the reins to us, we’ll make sure you’re covered. For a reasonable monthly retainer, we’ll make sure that all your plugins and themes are up to date, and that your site is always working. We’ll also handle any minor changes and additions.

Do I own my website?
You sure do! Everything we build for you is your property. We hope that you’ll stick with us for the life of the website, but if for any reason you decide that you’d rather hire another company to service your site, we will assist you in making the transition as easily and efficiently as possible. (We’ll be sad, though.)
Help, I broke my site!

Breathe. It’s going to be okay. Now…

Sometimes these things happen. A badly coded plugin gets installed, a file becomes corrupted, your web hosting company changes things on the back end, and suddenly your beautiful web presence is gone. Fear not — we can get you back up and running.

Will my website work on mobile devices?
Absolutely. We make sure that every website we design is fully responsive to desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts.
Will my website be search engine friendly?
Yes. We use the most up to date plugins to ensure that your website is SEO-friendly, so you can net optimal placement.
Can I sell products on my website?
You sure can! We can build your online store, and we’ll implement security to make sure that your customers’ personal information is safe and secure.
Can I have a mailing list sign up on my website?
Sure thing. We can help you set up a mailing list if you don’t have one, or integrate a sign-up form for your existing list.
Can you help with…
Can you help me write content for my website?
We sure can — and we’ll proofread your pre-existing content, if you have any. We’ll make sure that every “i” is dotted, every “t” is crossed, and every sentence makes sense.
Can you help me source photos for my website?
No problem. We’ll help you source stock photos for your website, so that everything is copyright-compliant and ready to go.
I already have a website, can you manage it for me?

We’re happy to help keep your site up to date in its current format by making minor changes and revisions. Projects of this nature generally are billed on a monthly retainer, rather than hourly. As a result, you can contact us with your needs anytime, and not worry about running over budget.

If minor changes and revisions start becoming major redesigns, however, we will need to negotiate a scope of work for website design.

Not at this time. We’ll be happy to give advice and recommendations, however.
What kind of businesses do you work with?
We’ll work with just about anyone (hey, designers gotta eat). That said, we especially love working with small start-ups, nonprofits, and family businesses. No client is too big or too small, and we treat our clients equally. Whether you’re a multinational corporation or a mom ‘n pop chip shop, we’ll take care of your needs with the same respect and level of personal attention as everyone else.
Where are you located?
We are located in Norman, Oklahoma, USA, home of the University of Oklahoma. That said, the wonderful thing about web design is that it can be done remotely: whether you’re down the street or halfway around the world, we’d love to work with you.
